Who Is My Neighbor?

This week, Pastor Andrea Fluegel and Rachel Strong discuss the parable of the Good Samaritan in Luke 10:25-37. They look at the sacred word "Neighbor" and ask the question, "Who is my neighbor?" Has the word "neighbor" changed over the years? What does Jesus mean when he talks about how we are to love our neighbors as ourselves? Which character do you most associate with - Levite, Priest, Good Samaritan, or the man on the road?

Scripture References: Luke 10:25-37

From Series: "Sacred Words"

This series is based on Jonathan Merritt's book, "Learning to Speak God from Scratch." There are words that we often use such as grace, neighbor, and sin. But do we actually understand what they mean? In conversations with others, are we using the words in the same way and meaning the same thing? In this series, we explore some of these words.
