Hope After Exile

This week, Pastor Andrea Fluegel and Rachel Strong discuss the Prophet Isaiah and the presence of God being revealed in all people. Isaiah was a prophet during the reign of King Hezekiah. And yet, this book speaks to the people of God returning from exile.  Isaiah's message to the people was to stand fast and to trust in God's Word and promises. How is it that God dwells with you in wilderness times? Where do you find the presence of God? How is it that God is calling you to cry out so that God's presence is revealed to others? Recommended: Listen to Handel's Messiah on "Comfort, O Comfort, My People."

Scripture References: Isaiah 40:1-11

From Series: "Prophets"

During this series, we explore various Prophets of the Old Testament. What did they have to say about God's justice, love and mercy? How did they speak God's grace into the darkest of times? And how are we challenged by them today?
