In this Bible study, Pastor Andrea Fluegel and Rachel Strong discuss the question, "Who is the greatest?" At the beginning of the reading, Jesus tells the disciples again that he will be betrayed, killed, and after three days rise again. Yet, the disciples still did not understand and were afraid to ask him what he was saying. Despite this, the disciples argued on the way to from Galilee to Capernaum, and eventually to Jerusalem. They were arguing about who was the greatest. Which one of them was closer to Jesus than all of the other disciples? Jesus' answer diverges from the ways of the world. To Jesus and in the eyes of God, nothing is greater than giving, generosity, and being a servant to all. It is through these things that God's love is visible. How are you living out Jesus' love in this world?
