The second week of a 6-week series called Promises Unfold. In this series, we explore stories from the Major and Minor Prophets. This episode looks at the Prophet Isaiah. In the year that King Uzziah died from a skin ailment, we hear this recount of the prophet's call story. It is a story of experiencing the grand and vast awesomeness of God and a story of opening the heart to where God is calling you to go even among struggles, hardships and uncertainty. It is a story that unfolds the promise of God's compassion for the least of these in society and that the ministry of God never ends.
