Show Support—Be A Skittle

Each day during the Youth Gathering, Prince of Peace youth as well as youth from across the country will be wearing a different colored shirt representing their congregation, Synod, and ELCA. At the last Youth Gathering, the City of Detroit nicknamed the youth “Skittles” after the rainbow of color and hope they saw each day as the ELCA served their community. POP Youth invite you to wear similar colored clothing on those days as a sign of solidarity with POP youth and all ELCA youth while in Houston.

  • Wed., June 27—Travel Day (Wear Purple/Green/Yellow)
  • Thurs., June 28– Interactive Learning Day (Wear POP Shirts/Blue)
  • Fri., June 29—Synod Day (Wear Clothes Representing Northwoods or Blue/Purple)
  • Sat., June 30—Service Day (Wear Orange/Red or Clothes
    Representing Eagle River)
  • Sun., July 1—Travel Day (Wear Purple/Green/Yellow)

Take a picture of your family, group, or a selfie each day wearing your colors and post it on the POP Facebook page to let the youth know you are journeying with them in their faith life.
