Passage: 2 Kings 22:1-20; 2 Kings 23:1-3
Service Type:

This week, Pastor Andrea Fluegel and Barb Zima discuss the reign of King Josiah. King Josiah was one of the most highly regarded kings of all of Judah because he did what was right in the eyes of the Lord. He followed in his great-grandfather King Hezekiah's footsteps as a earthly king that tried to be faithful to God unlike his father and grandfather. The workers who were remodeling and restoring the Temple found the Book of Law hidden away. King Josiah had the Book of the Law interpreted by a prophetess and then read the book to the people. What turns you away from God? What keeps you faithful to God's Word? How does the reign of King Josiah and his rebuilding and reforming program inform our lives of faith today?
