Last Supper: Risking the Loss of Friends

Passage: Luke 4:16-21, John 13:3-16
Service Type:

This worship experience concludes the mid-week Lenten worship series on "Entering the Passion of Jesus." However, that does not end the story or the ways in which we can and still picture ourselves in the story. Tonight, we picture ourselves in the story of the Last Supper with Jesus and the disciples before the betrayal, arrest, and crucifixion. During this time of fasting from the sacrament of Holy Communion, how do we hear this story anew and what does Jesus' presence mean to us?

Ministry continues to share the Good News of Jesus and to be in compassionate service to the least of these in our community and world. Your financial support makes a difference. Give by mail, online or text dollar amount to 833.394.7887 (follow the prompts). Thank you for your generosity in the name of Jesus.
