Pastor:
Series:
Passage: Matthew 1:18-25
Service Type:

Bible Text: Matthew 1:18-25 | Pastor: Andrea Fluegel | Series: Christmas | Pre-recorded for Sunday, July 26, 2020. Scripture: Matthew 1:18-25

You will need at least one candle or light per person, and if possible one main central candle to fully participate in this worship service.

This Sunday, we celebrate Christmas in July, and remember that it is Jesus who is with us always bringing us hope and light in the darkness. It is hope that we need at this moment. We need to remember that hope comes from the gift of God’s love to individuals, communities and our whole globe. Without hope we are lost, wandering in the wilderness alone. And it is by this hope (through Jesus Christ that we can move beyond experiencing suffering, pain and loss and instead find redemption and liberation.

A PDF version of the order of service (bulletin) and a downloadable audio version of the sermon are below. The bulletin includes the words to the hymns.

If you would like to support the mission of Prince of Peace so that we can continue worship, community outreach, and other ministries, you can give any amount by cash, check, online, through the Give+ app by Vanco, or by sending a text to 833-394-7887 (text your dollar amount and follow the prompts). Thank you for your generosity.
