Third Sunday of Easter

The Book of Acts portrays Jesus’ followers from their days with the risen Jesus in Jerusalem to Paul’s mission in Rome.  Called, inspired, and even driven by the Holy Spirit, the apostles, the sent out ones, spread the Good News throughout the world.  Today, we jump right into the Book of Acts with the story of Peter and Cornelius, a Roman centurion.  The Good News, baptism, and the power of the Holy Spirit are no longer just for the Jews, but for the Gentiles and for all nations in the name of Jesus.

Scripture References: Acts 10:1-17
