Weekend Backpack Program
The Backpack Program provides food to children in need throughout the Northland Pines school district. To learn more visit the Backpack Program page. In order to make this mission possible volunteers are needed each week to pack bags with food in the lower level of Prince of Peace.
Due to COVID-19 and the Prince of Peace Re-Opening Plan Guidelines, only volunteers who are pre-registered may help with filling up the bags of food. Volunteers must wear a mask and thoroughly wash or sanitize hands before touching food packages. If volunteers are feeling ill (cough, fever, sneezing, allergies, upset stomach, etc.) they will not be able to volunteer. Volunteers will only be able to enter/exit through the lower level doors.
