FUN FACT: The story of the teddy bear begins in November 1902, when President Theodore Roosevelt went on a hunting trip in Mississippi and refused to shoot a bear that was restrained.

NOTES FROM ANN – Not a whole lot to add this week. One picture is of two completely dejected dogs as their human play toys left. Milo was the first one to lay down and pout. Leinie quickly joined him. And the other picture is of a cool art piece I picked up from a Wisconsin artist – she sometimes makes it up to the St. Germain Flea Market. I very much enjoy her work.

I hope everyone is taking time to enjoy the summer. In between guests, in between regular chores and duties and responsibilities. Remember to take the time to take it all in. The time flies by. It isn’t wasteful to stop and enjoy it. Even the Big Guy stopped and took a moment to see that it was good.

Oh – and if you complete the WordSearch – please know I learned a lot this week planning this one. Some new words. Some new trivia. It isn’t just a game – it is a learning experience!
