LOST AND FOUND – there was a nice knitted black glove found in the parking lot. It has a pattern on it. Maybe size M or S? Nice glove. If you’re missing it – it is in the Front Office. See picture below.

GARBAGE – if the garbage cans are full and the lids cannot be put on securely, please let us know – and do not put garbage out. We have had ‘critter attacks’ and it isn’t fun picking up garbage across the parking lot.

HALLELUJAH OR ALLELUIA? Hallelujah” comes from the Hebrew phrase “Hallelu Yah”, where “Hallelu” means “to praise joyfully” and “Yah” is a shortened form of Yahweh, the name of God. Alleluia” is the Latinized form of “hallelujah”. In essence, hallelujah is a universal term of praise with Hebrew roots, suitable for both religious and secular expressions, while alleluia is its Latinized counterpart, primarily used in Christian liturgical settings to convey sacred joy and reverence.

NOTES FROM ANN – Nope – you’re not imagining things. I am sending out the announcements a day early. I received an offer last week I couldn’t refuse. That’s not true – I could have refused. But I had too many people tell me I was nuts if I didn’t take advantage of it. A friend of mine requires an “emotional support human”* for a trip to Gulf Shores. She asked if I would go with her if she paid for the trip. (It is a business trip of sorts for her). Difficult to decline an offer like that. We will be flying out tomorrow and will return on Sunday. I will say – I’m a little taken aback about how eager people were to get rid of me for four days. 😉

Pictures, pictures – we have pictures! A shot of our gorgeous cross filled with lilies. He is Risen!! A nice picture of Maddux helping us out during our Easter Service. I had to include a picture of the found black knit mitten/glove. It really is a nice one. I’m hoping someone claims it. And finally – a picture of a very tenacious squirrel. That window bird feeder is at least 10′ off of the ground. There is a garden shepherd’s hook about 2 feet away and perhaps 5 feet tall. This little guy shimmied to the top of the shepherd’s hook, balanced well enough to launch himself into the bird feeder. I will tell you – he did not make it on the first try or even the second try. We’ve had other squirrels try and fail. I had to give this dude props tho. Plus – the cats were very entertained.

Have a very blessed week and may unexpected adventures come your way.
