FUN FACTS – Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis is the longest word in the dictionary. Funny thing is – it is a word to describe a condition that doesn’t exist.

NOTES FROM ANN – First and foremost – a huge shoutout to all of the Dads out there – in whatever shape and/or form. Thank you for all that you do!

Then – a sincere congratulations to Todd Wilfer, Shayne’s hubbie. He retired recently from Northland Pines High School after 27 (TWENTY SEVEN!) years of being a teacher. That man definitely deserves a rest.

This past weekend we were hiking the O Kun De Kun Falls trail. As we were returning – I made the comment (to the universe) wondering if the flower we saw was a trillium. Wouldn’t you know it? Just as I asked the question, two ladies were walking towards us – overheard my remark and confirmed the flower was – in fact – a trillium. AND they were botanists and were able to answer a couple of more questions! What are the odds? On a rather deserted trail, to make a remark, which was then overheard by a botanist!

Definitely made me feel part of the bigger picture.

Here’s hoping your random questions are answered unexpectedly.

Finally – a really cool picture of a root growing through a rock. I saw it and had to take a picture. Reminded me of the mustard seed.
