QUILTERS UNTIE! – I mean unite to tie. Tie one on with the quilting group as they assemble quilts. Meet every first and third Wed of the month 9:30 to 11:30 am.
SEPTEMBER MOVIE NIGHT – Sep 30. We will be showing HAMILTON! Don’t worry – a copy of the lyrics will be on hand. And we will have the movie close-captioned.
PET BLESSING – is scheduled for Oct 4 – bring your scaley, furry, fluffy, feathered friends to be blessed by Pastor Grant. We will paws before worship to bestow good tidings on our pets. We know it is last minute and we know you all have already done a lot of donating and supporting in the last couple of weeks, however, we would like to collect some pet supplies on Oct 4. Food, litter, treats – for cats and dogs. (Not intentionally leaving other beasts out – but cats and dogs are usually the ones at the shelter. We can free up funds for the non-cat and non-dog beasts.)
GET READY – Prince of Peace will be hosting “Leaving a Legacy of Faith” for churches in our conference on Thu, Oct 15 from 11:30a to 1:30p. Learn practical ways to care for your family while supporting the ministries you love including will, beneficiaries, powers of attorney and tax wise giving through trusts, CDs and IRAs.

HAND CHIME DINGERS PRACTICE SUNDAYS 10:15 AM IN SEP & OCT- Twelve people are needed to play hand chimes for a special music song on Reformation Sunday October 25 during 9:00am worship. Meet Sundays during fellowship about 10:15 to 11:00am to practice in the conference room. Talk to Sherry (715 614 3543) with any questions or just show up!
THE PRINCE OF PEACE CHOIR IS ALWAYS OPEN TO NEW SINGERS! – Join us for practice on Wed 4:30 to 5:30 pm in the sanctuary. We will sing a song for special music Oct 4, Nov 1, and Dec 6. Pastor Grant and I had a moment to discuss communion this past week. I said the part I like about communion the most is watching everyone go through the line. If there is a stranger, I notice and am happy they decided to stop in. If it is one of you all, I pause and reflect on each of you as you walk by. It brings a smile to my heart and recharges me to do better for the church in the upcoming week. Matthew 18:20 “For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.” Course – the reference means more than just that one sentence, but it brings home to me how much coming to church makes a difference.
